Highland Park for Black Lives
Our country has been going through a painful and uncertain season, and one conversation we desire to continue is the one around black injustice in America. Since Penstock Coffee was first founded, our mission has always been to a space where experiences and ideas are freely exchanged - where building community truly connects us. One way we use our cafe space is to feature local artists, and while we planned to do the same with our Highland Park for Black Lives Gallery, due to the constantly changing situation because of COVID-19, we decided to memorialize the Highland Park for Black Lives protest through an online gallery. We asked our customers to share some moments from the protest, and while there were many submissions, we decided not to feature photos that show full faces of protestors without their permission. If for any reason you would like us to remove any of the photos, please let us know by writing to info@penstockcoffee.com or on Instagram @penstockcoffee.
If you have photos you would like us to feature in this gallery, please reach out to us at info@penstockcoffee.com with the attached photos or link to a Google Photos album where we can download your photos and put them in this gallery.
